Hannah Barlow, co-founder, BB Partners to deliver inaugural Socially Mobile Alumni Lecture
Socially Mobile is launching a lecture programme for its alumni community. Lectures will be given by notable speakers on topics related to the goals and values of the programme.
Socially Mobile delivers training to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds and under-represented and under-served groups, including ethnic minority practitioners, the LGBTQ+ community, women returners and those with disabilities.
The virtual alumni event will take place once each semester and allow alumni to meet with the most recent cohort of graduates. It builds on the online community hosted on Guild.
“The Socially Mobile alumni community will hit 100 graduates later this year. The lecture programme will provide an important forum for the community to meet each semester,” said Stephen Waddington, Founder, Socially Mobile.
Hannah Barlow, co-founder, BB Partners will deliver the inaugural lecture on 24 August. She will discuss her background and career, setting up BB Partners and public policy work with brands and organisations.
Hannah is a political communications and campaigns specialist. She has a decade of experience creating and delivering campaigns to improve legislation, build movements, raise public awareness, and galvanise funding on UK and global development issues.
