PR industry leaders rally to fund Socially Mobile with seven places left to fill for 2025
Socially Mobile is looking for six more industry leaders to sponsor a place or enrol a team member on the online training programme for £750 per person. The Community Interest Company launched a fundraising drive in September and has secured 19 of the 25 pledges it needs to remain sustainable in 2025.
The fast-paced, ten-week online executive education course offers an immersive and collaborative learning experience designed to move public relations practitioners from a tactical to a strategic role. The programme has been certified by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
More than 100 students have already graduated with a certificate in leadership communication. Outcomes include improved industry-specific knowledge, an increased ability to adapt to market needs, and enhanced communication skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving and leadership.
Nine out of ten graduates report that Socially Mobile has positively impacted their career. This includes promotion (16%), new and better jobs (28%) and salary increases (20%).
“Socially Mobile is breaking down barriers and shifting the status quo. We are so proud to support this brilliant movement.”
“Socially Mobile is a powerful example of community in action, to help everyone succeed. I’m proud to be supporting it again this year, to provide opportunities for other practitioners so they can thrive.”
“I love the ingenuity used here to ensure this vital programme continues. Our industry woefully underdelivers, and we all need to do more to address the inequality.”
We'd like to thank all of the individuals and organisations that have made pledges as part of the 25 for 2025 campaign.
